THE ROLE

At GiGi, the bar is where the evening begins.

It is where conversations start, celebrations are toasted and guests settle into the rhythm of a long Italian night. As a Bartender, you are more than a maker of drinks—you are a host, a storyteller and a craftsperson.

Every cocktail, every glass of wine and every espresso should be prepared with care, served with confidence and delivered with genuine warmth.

This is a role for someone who takes pride in creating memorable moments, whether welcoming guests enjoying an aperitivo, recommending the perfect digestif or crafting a signature cocktail with effortless precision.

At GiGi, the bar isn't simply somewhere guests wait.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

– Create exceptional cocktails, aperitivi, coffees and drinks that reflect the elegance of GiGi

– Guide guests through our drinks menu with confidence, making thoughtful recommendations based on their tastes and the occasion

– Build genuine relationships with guests, recognising returning faces and creating a welcoming atmosphere

– Prepare every drink with consistency, precision and pride, ensuring every serve meets the GiGi standard

– Maintain a beautifully presented, organised and fully stocked bar throughout service

– Work seamlessly with the restaurant team to ensure drinks and food are delivered with perfect timing

– Bring energy and personality to the bar whilst adapting your style to every guest and every occasion

– Develop a deep knowledge of our wines, spirits, cocktails and Italian drinking culture

– Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, preparation and attention to detail

– Help make the bar a destination guests choose to visit, not simply pass through

EXPERIENCE

– Previous bartending experience within a quality hospitality environment is preferred

– Confidence preparing classic cocktails, premium spirits and high-quality coffee

– A passion for Italian aperitivo culture, wine and hospitality

– Experience working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment

– A desire to continually develop your knowledge and become an expert in your craft

– The ambition to grow with GiGi as we build something truly special
